I was a Tiger and then I was a Wolf but since last night I am a Bear. A Bear is the last rank before Webelos in Cub Scouts.
Last night my dad took me to the Campfire Move-Up ceremony. At the campfire I had S'mores -- S'mores are roasted marshmallows with chocolate and two graham crackers. They look like a sandwich but not exactly -- and I got my new rank. I had to do work to get my new rank. I worked selling popcorn, I made a car for the Pinewood Derby and I made a rocket. I also had to learn about birds.
I like Cub Scouts because I get to do activities and I have made lots of friends. If your son is interested in this, call me and I will try to get him in a pack.

So how can I get to become a boy scout - I LOVE smores!! Unfortunately, smores don't like me - they stick right on my hips! I didn't know you were selling popcorn. You better ask Mom why she didn't sell some in school. I would have bought some - especially the one with extra butter! I hope Mom brings you to visit me over the summer - I'm tons of fun as you can imagine! ox Shelley
ReplyDeleteWell, you know if my mom brings me over to your house I will try to get the pack leader to order an early shipment of popcorn just for you. But first, you have to fill out the order form and as soon as I get the shipment, I will give it to you right away.

So Liam - do you think Mom will bring over to my house this summer? I hear so much about you that I am just dying to meet you in person. I bet you would have a blast with my dog, Jeter (you know that is don't you?). Then you can tell me what it's like to be a boy scout and we could make some BIG ice cream sundaes!! I'm jealous you got to make s'mores. That's one of my favorite snacks!
I also think your mom should've tried to sell me some popcorn. I would have bought some to support you! I guess I'll have to wait until next year's sale.
