NASA is a branch of the United States government that is in Cape Canaveral, Florida. When I went to The USS Intrepid, I saw a space capsule that belonged to NASA. When I was in Washington, DC I went into one of the space capsules.
NASA has an international
space station up in the sky. You can see it at night if you look from a window. Every night I look out my window and see the space station. It's pretty cool because one time I think I saw a spaceman on it.

You know, Liam, I've never been to the Intrepid, nor have I ever taken my boys. Do you think they're too old to go now(ages, 20 and 24)??? I did see that space capsule though. We all went to Washington, DC a number of years and we went to the Smithsonian - I think that's where the space capsule was. That was an awesome vacation. My favorite part was taking a picture in front of the Lincoln Memorial - I looked like a peanut and if you knew me, you would see that I am far from a peanut!! Where the popcorn already??

ReplyDeleteYour boys can still go with you on the Intrepid.It is really fun because you can go on two simulator rides. I went on both of them. One of them flipped upside down! Your boys would like that.
